Mouse wheel up/down to change slice sometimes scrolls view

I don't know exactly how it occurs - it could be resizing the window, but eventually my mouse wheel will end up scrolling the viewport of the editor, as well as changing my position in the slice stack.

When this happends it becomes pretty tough to use, and I am unable to pan the view back up without scrolling up.
